I found this specimen at West Bragg Creek on Saturday. The cap is 8 cm in diameter and 2 cm deep. The stalk is 5 cm long. I found it growing in a pine forest in moss. I'm thinking it might be a Clitocybe, possibly C. clavipes. Your thoughts are much appreciated. I tried to get a spore print, but was unsuccessful.

Cut the mushroom down the middle to confirm if it does have the hollow foot.

Yes, it has a hollow foot. Thus, can I assume it is a C. clavipes?

Thanks for the quick reply Martin.

cheers,
